That All-Too-Common New Year’s Resolution

Happy New Year all!

I hope your holiday season treated you well and was full of the joy you hoped for.

Now I hear the chant of the moment – the New Year’s resolution list.  I think it’s safe to assume that at the top of most people’s list is a commitment to maintaining, revisiting or initiating exercise as part of one’s life.

Whatever your personal relationships with exercise have been in the past, I urge you to find an activity you LOVE – something that awakens a true appreciation for your body and what it can do and accomplish in space.

Of course, I’ve got to talk about food here too.  Did you know that berries are fantastic inflamation fighters?  Strawberries, blueberries, and even acai and goji contain compounds that have been shown to reduce muscle soreness.

So, get out there and enjoy moving around (however you choose to do it) and grab a fist-full of berries if those muscles holler a bit afterward.
